Funny when you walk by a place a million time and never stop, not even for a coffee, and suddenly Bang! you see it and want to try a cappuccino and then ask for a mezze and, why not, two syrups for the kids…
Well, honestly, I started to notice Moudi Bar last winter ’cause is just a minute away from my German school and yes, it was lovely with all the hanging lights and the comfy and colourful sofas and chairs but honestly, the sunny days we have had lately are the true value that put me in the right mood to appreciate the world around, even more than usual.
Moudi Bar has differente locations in Zürich, we stopped by the one in Brandschenkestrasse, Kreis 1 – on their website you will find the other addresses; we chatted about Pokemon cards (don’t ask), the importance of Vitamin D and unicorns over a cappuccino (good, Caffé Cagliari) and two holunder syrups.
We loved to watch people go by for a good 45 minutes, lunch time was around the corner, hubby was free for lunch so decided to come over.
We ordered a mezze für mich and it was tasty food with a very good balance of spicy and not ingredients. The beef on the stick was particularly flavourful.
All the hummus were GREAT: silky and delicious.
While I was there, I’ve got the idea that Nicole of Mags Frisch could be an interested guest: I just picture her enjoying this food!
If you speak German (or can use Google Translate ah), please go and have a look at Nicole’s website or IG profile where I also draw on the wonderful recipes that she posts on her profile @mags_frisch ❤︎
