I’ve been a bad, bad blogger.
And the minute I realised it had been weeks since I posted the last article, I even procaffeinated longer.
Yes, my summer glided away almost caffeine-free: at the beginning I found myself a bit worried about spending forty whole days with the kids not going to school not.a.single.hour so every coffee drop would have counted like gold.
Much to my surprise, it turned out to be a brilliant time together (most of the time, AH!).
I spent six peaceful weeks with the two partners in crime: I spent a lot of time with P&B – thing that made everybody happy – woke up at decent times, hold shouting to a minimum, finished a book I started in January.
At some point, I even decided to not use the wi-fi for a couple of weeks to fully enjoy our time on the seaside.
Priceless, I tell you: itchy at first, liberating in less than 48 hours.
But hey, now I’m here so let’s keep writing!
Monday is mom day so B and I took the car and went to lively Kreis 3 and headed to the pretty Kafi Dihei.
The bar&restaurant looks like a doll room, vintage and cosy, perfectly furnished if you like these styles.
Plenty of cakes, pancakes, scones and more.
They serve food from breakfast till dinner and they offer a Sunday brunch with good prices.
Coffee is ok, had a cappuccino and tasted good although next time I’ll surely try the salty selection and their orange juice!
This morning was almost packed and it was Monday so I would definitely book a table if you’re planning to go on the weekend.
They have a lovely area outside, under the tree, if it’s sunny and it’s summer, go for it: the street is quiet and you don’t have to shout to talk.
I really liked the nice retrò decor (which I adore) and sitting there made me feel like being at home.

This sort of places make all the difference in the bar panorama: they’re unique, special and not like anything else.
